The snow may finally be behind us, but this was the first day of Spring - and what a white one it was!
Nonetheless, it was a lovely day. Central Park's beauty transcends seasons. Whether with its lush greens and blooming gardens or as a Winter wonderland, it's always a scenic and serene escape from the concrete buildings and busy streets.
Crochet is a huge trend for Spring and so are white dresses. I've had this H&M number for a little while but like I always say - invest in piece that can stand the test of time (classics first) and then add the trends here and there (trends after).
The micro length of the dress made it the perfect candidate for my thigh high boots by Monika Chiang. Wearing a mini shift dress with thigh high boots leaves only a hint of skin exposed, making it more fashion-forward and sophisticated.
The belted scarf has also been a popular look, and I've been doing it for a while but hadn't document. This Oudifu scarf is so warm and chic with the elephant prints. I love that it is reversible between predominantly burgundy or predominantly white. I wore it on the white side for a more all-white subtle look, with the elephant print complementing my burgundy David and Young fedora.
Even with all the snow, it wasn't a super cold day, so I layered with a light coat from Forever21. What I love most about this coat is its feminine style. It also looks great worn as a dress - I'll do a post on that look as well soon.
The final details to this look were my Chanel J12 watch, Tiffany & Co bracelet and Ray-Ban aviators.
